That's right... I am just one of many teachers who has been "left behind" by a system that annually reduces standard of living, benefits, and effectiveness of education while simultaneously increasing workload, workplace demands, responsibility, and stress upon an underappreciated teaching workforce.
Although I don't much care for being an educator anymore, I do care about the youth of America, the future of our country... and therefore I care about education. This blog is not only to point out what is wrong with American education but also ideas on how to fix it.
And I get paid nothing in return. In that regard, it's kind of like being a teacher.
